Job Overview:

We are hiring Legal Experts to support legal and regulatory matters under the Bihar Revenue Department on a 5-year contractual basis, with the possibility of renewal based on performance. The selected candidates will be posted across various districts of Bihar and will be responsible for handling legal documentation, dispute resolution, and compliance matters related to revenue administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review legal documents, notices, and contracts

• Handle land-related legal disputes and revenue litigation cases

• Coordinate with government officials and stakeholders for case updates and compliance

• Ensure accurate documentation in land acquisition, mutation, and other revenue matters

• Represent department interests in courts or tribunals when required

• Maintain records and provide legal advice to local administrative units

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in legal practice, preferably related to land or revenue matters

• Must be willing to travel or relocate within Bihar as per department requirement

• Strong knowledge of revenue laws, land records, and government legal processes

• Good communication, drafting, and negotiation skills

Contract Details:

• Contract Duration: 5 years (renewable based on performance and government norms)

• Employer: Under Bihar Revenue Department (project-based legal engagement)

• Salary: ₹38,000 per month (fixed)
